Board of Directors meeting notes from July, 21, 2026
Location: Peggy Lindsey’s Real Estate Office at 4:15 pm.
BOD members waived the notice requirement by the Secretary.
Mr Wil Earwood, current BSWUA member, resident of Panoramic Heights volunteered to join
the BOD.
Laszlo Kubinyi made a motion to accept Mr Earwood for the Board of Directors.
Peggy Lindsey seconded it, motion passed with no objection.
Peggy Lindsey announced that at the next Annual Meeting she will resign from her position.
Discussion followed to plan the next BSWUA Annual Meeting.
The potential date is Aug. 25th, Tuesday, 2026, 5pm.
Laszlo Kubinyi volunteered to secure the meeting location at the Citizens State Bank
conference room.
He also volunteered to find someone to arrange and oversee the Google-meet program for the
meeting.
He also volunteered to arrange the annual Fire Hydrant tests for the BSWUA area.
Peggy Lindsey and Trisha Oakland suggested approaching the City of Ouray for a meeting with
BSWUA BOD members. The purpose of such a meeting would be to address numerous
shortcomings of our current contract with the City.
It was suggested to join an upcoming meeting on Aug.3. 2026 initiated by Mineral Flats
Subdivision vs. City of Ouray. This would help us with our further negotiations with the City.
One outstanding delinquent bill needs to be followed up. The said property is for sale, Trisha
Oakland promised to contact the Land and Title Company in order to remedy the problem.
The meeting adjourned at 5:03 pm.
